Based on true characters - CHUNG Chun Tao, or AhTao, has worked as a servant for the Leung family for 4 generations. During the 60 years, some members of the Leung family passed away and some emigrated.  Roger is the only family member left in Hong Kong and has been looked after by Ah Tao in the past decade.  Working in the film industry, Roger travels very often.  One day he comes home and finds Ah Tao unconscious after having a stroke. He rushes her to hospital…..then, Roger comes to realize how much Ah Tao means to him.  They are like mother and son.  

In the early summer of 1956 23 year-old Colin Clark, just down from Oxford and determined to make his way in the film business, worked as a lowly assistant on the set of “THE PRINCE AND THE SHOWGIRL”, the film that united Sir Laurence Olivier with Marilyn Monroe, who,whilst shooting, was also on honeymoon with her new husband, the playwright Arthur Miller.

Nearly 40 years on, his diary account “THE PRINCE,THE SHOWGIRL AND ME” was published, but one week was missing, and this is the story of that week: an idyll in which he escorted a Monroe desperate to getaway from her retinue of Hollywood hangers-on and the pressures of working.When Arthur Miller makers a brief trip to Paris, the coast is clear for Colin to introduce her to some of the pleasures of British life.

The collision of the two worlds – old England and new Hollywood – is as incongruous as it is delightful. Slowly Marilyn begins to shake off the dark fog of insecurity and fear always hovering around her. In his fascinating examination of a triple homicide case in Conroe, Texas, Werner Herzog probes the human psyche to explore why people kill—and why a state kills.
